Emergency transfer

¡Hola a todos!

This week has been pretty crazy! ARGENTINA WON THE WORLD CUP!! VAMOSSS! And there was a very long party afterwards.
Tuesday we received a call from the AP'S and they said that Elder Medina is getting transfered to La Madrid in C贸rdoba Capital!
So, right now I have a new companion! His name is Elder Coutinho and he's from Brazil 馃嚙馃嚪
Thursday we had a Christmas conference with multiple zones which was super fun! We had the normal zone conference portion and later we had sort of a talent show thing and after that we pasted out our gifts to our secret missionary which was a blast! In my gift I got a Mate馃which was awesome because I've been meaning to buy one but just never got around to it!
The past couple days after the conference I've just been trying to settle myself into the area because I'm now leading it with only 3 weeks under my belt and I thought I would have a little more time to learn everything. But I'm feeling good right now and I'm ready to get going!
Anyway that's everything for this week! Hope everyone is doing well at home!

Merry Christmas!!

We moved apartments!

¡Hola a todos!

First off this is going to be a long email. These last two weeks were pretty interesting! Lots of traveling going back and forth between apartments and watching Argentina play in the world cup since our mission president gave us permission to watch the Argentina games because there is no way we could get work done during that time, and he was right there is literally no one outside during the Argentina soccer games.
Tuesday, two weeks ago we had to wake up around 4:45 am to get ready before our bus left to C贸rdoba city because Elder Medina needed to go back to Migracions to finish his Argentina identification process. So we traveled for 2 and a half on a bus to C贸rdoba and we waited in Migracions for about 2-ish hours traveling from the mission home and back. Then we bussed ourselves back to Santa Rosa and got back around 4:30 pm! Fun times.
Two weeks ago we received a text that said we were going to be getting a new apartment, so Friday, we spent time cleaning the old apartment and getting everything looking nice and tidy for the people who own the place. I will say it took about 4 hours to clean the kitchen and the floor around the stove because there was some pretty bad oil stains around that area. Saturday, we began packing our bags and finished cleaning the rest of the apartment and sat and waited in the apartment because we didn't know when we were going to leave so we ended up not working on Saturday because of bad communication. When we finally did leave around 8:45 pm we headed over to an airbnb to wait for our new apartment. We stayed there until thursday morning this past week.
When we finally finished emptying the truck with our stuff presidente Zanni asked us if we were hungry around 9:50pm so we headed to the center in Santa Rosa ate pizza for dinner with the presidents family and the AP's and we got back to the apartment at midnight. It was fun times for sure.
Well, that was just the first week. The reason why I didn't send an email last week was because on Monday night Elder Medina wanted to wash his clothes and the washing machine didn't work so he pulled it out of its spot and in doing so the water pipe broke and water began spilling all over the floor, and the pipe broke when I was writing the first half of this email. Basically we didn't go to bed that night until 12:30 in the morning because we had to call the owners over and they helped turn the water off because we couldn't find the water main. Then we spent about 1 hour and a half cleaning up the water off the floor with towels and buckets. It was an adventure for sure.
Wednesday, this past week we had exchanges with the elders in Alta Gracia which went really well! I was with Elder Earnshaw in his area and he has one transfer less than me so it was my first time being with an elder who had less time than me and with his spanish and my spanish I felt like we got through the day with minimal problems which is always a good sign.
Thursday, this past week we moved into the apartment and it's nice to finally be settle in and get back into a rhythm these last three weeks of the transfer. This past Sunday we had 5 people come to church which is awesome and a couple we are teaching Amy and Dimar are going to be getting their marriage date so they're super close to getting baptized!
Anyway, if you made it this far you're a real one! But that's all for these past two crazy weeks! Hope everyone is doing well!
