¡Hola a todos!
The days still keep flying by! Long days and short weeks! As of today I have been serving the lord as a missionary for 9 months, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! This last week on Saturday we ate lunch with a family and the son is a member served a mission and everything, but his sister and his mom aren't members. When we were sharing a scripture after lunch I asked the mom, "Have you prayed about the book of Mormon?", she tells us yes, I then say, "Do you believe in the book of Mormon?", she tells us yes, I then say "Do you believe that this is the true church?" She tells us yes, so I ask her, "Why haven't you been baptized?" She tells us that I never felt ready and that I want to get baptized one day in the future but I don't when. So we ask her if we can help her feel ready, and she tells us that we can pass by another time and help her and her daughter feel prepared to be baptized! So that was definitely one of the miracles that we saw this week!
Also these past weeks we've really been praying to see miracles in our area because with opening an area, we need to first find people to teach before we can get everything moving along!
Wednesday, around 3 pm we were in our bedroom doing companionship study when our air-conditioning unit just turns off, we look at each other and just thought that the air-conditioning unit broke but then we realized that the power went out. We thought nothing of it and we headed out to work. While we were walking we realized that there were a lot more people in the streets than usual so we talk to someone and realize that there was a nation wide power outage in Argentina and that a nuclear reactor broke down and the whole city of C贸rdoba lost power! Lucky the power was fixed in a few hours, but it was a small miracle because we were able to talk to soooo many people about the gospel since everyone was outside!! So, I've definitely been seeing the hand of the Lord in our work these past few weeks!
The members here In Alto Alberdi are amazing and they want to work which is definitely a blessing to have! I'm grateful for all the help we've gotten over these past few weeks!
Also last P-day we finally moved into our actual apartment that we well be staying in for the rest of the next couple transfers and the apartment is huge!! It's crazy how nice it is and it's like 1 and a half blocks away from the church building which is very nice!
Anyway I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
