What a crazy week!

¡Hola a todos!

Don't have too much time but, this week was good! We found a couple of great families to start teaching! Our friends that are progressing well, have been stuck or occupied in the hospital, but they are finally getting prepared to leave so we are hoping we can have a lesson with them soon.
I got robbed again, on Tuesday, when I was on an exchange with another Elder In my district, Elder Cunningham.
We passed by one of our friends who lives in the sketchy part of our area and the lady told us to pass by later in about 20 minutes, so we went around doing other contacts in the neighborhood and when we came back we knocked on the door and waited... 20 seconds later two guys walk by this little passageway that we were in and they turn around and come back to rob us, I give them the phone and we say we only got one phone and then they left.
Also, this past Saturday almost got robbed again... we were walking home and I saw two guys on the other side of the street walking behind us, I say to myself, if these guys cross the street they want to rob us, and lo and behold, they cross. So, we turn left down a street where there are people and the guys continue straight, when we continue walking we come up to an intersection and I look to my left and I see the same guys, after that I knew they were following us. So we began to run a bit, still behind us, and we continued to walk faster, they followed us for about 9 blocks and finally we make it 1 block away from our apartment and we stop at a kiosk to chill out for a second and we waited for the guys to walk away, once they left we went to the apartment and chilled out, pretty crazy honestly but we're doing just fine.
Honestly, I'm grateful for the Holy Ghost in my life,  because right off the bat, I knew these guys seemed sketchy and I clung to the impressions that the Holy Ghost gave me.
Anyway that's all for this crazy week, hope everyone is doing well, and please pray for our friends in the hospital!! That would be great!!

Happy Birthday to me already?

¡Hola a todos!

April 10 2023, I am officially 20 years old!! Wow, no longer a teenager, 😐 that's crazy to think. But anyway this week was great!! We saw lots of small tender mercies this week and a old couple that we are teaching attended church and absolutely loved it! I'm so happy to see these two change and grow into the gospel.
A miracle this week would have to be that on Wednesday we passed by one of our friends and we haven't had contact with him for about 6 weeks and when we stopped by the other day, He told us that he read the whole book of Mormon when he was in the hospital waiting for his surgery because he was bored. When I heard that I couldn't Believe it, I just about died, haha. It was definitely cool and a testimony building experience about God changing and preparing the hearts of the people.
Also another day we were walking and we talked to a man who was sitting in front of his house, he invited us to sit down with him, and he asked us if we could teach him!
We were like YEAH!! FOR SURE! We talked about the restoration and the gospel and we invited him to be baptized right there and he accepted the invitation! That was pretty cool to see.
Also we have lots of great great people who are progressing very well. So, we're excited to invite them to baptism this week!
It's been a great week and I hope everyone is doing awesome at home!!

A week full of miracles and hard work!

¡Hola a todos!

This past week was AAAAMAZING!
Lots of great great great hard work, and we have found so many new people to teach that have so much great potential. My new son Elder Alfaro is an absolute beast! He's from Baja California Mexico, and he speaks amazing English, and he already knows basically all the lessons and he loves the work! I couldn't be happier for a companion like him.
In our ward Alto Alberdi, there's a member who is an absolute beast as well. He's been presenting the missionaries to literally everyone in his neighborhood because he's friends with like everyone! About 90% of the people we found this week was with him!
Also, General Conference was amazing!! I will say that my favorite talk would have to be Russel M. Nelsons first talk about becoming peace makers.
We've seen a lot of miracles this week, The people that we had lessons with were very interested and one of the couples we found with this member, He invited them to watch General Conference and the member told us that the couple really enjoyed conference which is awesome to hear!
I'm excited to start working with my new son this transfer, it's going to be awesome!
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week!

Week 43

¡Hola a todos!

These past three weeks have been pretty crazy! First off, transfers. I will be staying in Alto Alberdi 2 and I'll be training another brand new Elder. Sadly my "Hijo" Elder Marcom had to go home early because he wasn't feeling well. So this past week and a half I've been with Elder Diaz who is from Peru. I've been living In the apartment in the area "General Paz" and we've been working in both areas. Transfers just ended so I'll be getting my new companion this Wednesday. It's been a crazy experience but I've learned a lot these past 6 weeks.
Just a quick update for now I'll have more to talk about next week! Hope everyone has a great week!
