Semana (Week) 56

¡Hola a todos! 

This has been a crazy week! We had transfers on Thursday which was already weird and I am now in General Paz. My compaion is Elder Robinson and he´s an absolute beast and a great missionary! He just finished training and we are hyped to start working hard! Also, if you guys remember about 3 months ago I was in General Paz with an Elder named Elder Diaz and I´m back in the same ward! So I already kind of know the ward and the area a little bit. It´s been a crazy time so far! Quick update on my last comp, Elder Thompson is staying in Alto Alberdi 2 and hes training! 

Tuesday this week I went on exchanges with Elder Stenson and it was super hype! Thursday I went on exchanges with Elder Neicoleo in Guiñasu and it was also super hype!

I´ve just been getting to know the area and all the friends that we are teaching so its been a crazy week for sure!

Semana (Week) 55

Hello my good friends! How are we all doing? I had a great week filled with some super great lessons and we found some great people that have great potential! Nothing to crazy happened this week. It was pretty slow in the first half but after Thursday we popped off like crazy! 

We are having transfers this Thursday so I don't know yet if I will be staying in Alto Alberdi or going somewhere else! But for now I'll be chillin here for a few more days. 

One of the lessons we had this week was super awesome. We found a family a week and a half ago and this last Saturday we had a super amazing lesson, the parents are already married and they listened and asked great questions during the lesson and they said they would read and pray about the Book of Mormon which is awesome!!

Week 53 and 54

¡Hola a todos!

This week was great!! But before I tell you how things are going here in Argentina, on June 6th, I completed one year as a missionary which is just absolutely insane! I can clearly recall my time spent in the online MTC at home in Washington. It doesn't feel like I've been a missionary for that long, but here we are. 

But anyway, the week before last week was good! A lot of the same, finding, teaching, and walking. But we're still going strong!

Omar still hasn't gotten baptized yet because of his health. So please keep him in your prayers!! 🙏

This last week I had an exchange with the zone leader's and I went with Elder Wilding to his area General La Madrid. Something crazy and interesting that happened was that we were walking on the side walk and just behind us on the other side of the street we're 3 guys following another man. The 3 guys try to rob him or something and I look over and I see these guys crossing the street running towards Elder Wilding and I and we both start running as well. But I think the spirit told me to stop where I was and stay still. I stop in my tracks and the group of guys run passed us. We see the guys exchange a few words and the man gets away and the 3 guys run for it. 

Me and Elder Wilding stop on the sidewalk to process what just happened. But the interesting thing about this story is that the people out in front of their house who saw this happen ask the man who almost got robbed how he was doing but the people nor the man acknowledged that me or Elder Wilding was there. It was like we were invisible to them. I'm not 100% sure what happened but it was very interesting.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well at home!

Semana (Week) 52

¡Hola a todos! 

This week was awesome! We had lots of great lessons and we found some really great people this week to start teaching! Omar is on par to get baptized this Saturday the 3rd so we are going to be working super hard this week to finish all the preparations for his baptism.

Some highlights of week 51, 

• Lost my wrist watch, because a drunk guy came up to us and threaten he had a gun so, uhh yeah, he didnt actually have a gun but we didnt argue, he asked for our phone, said we didnt have it and told us to hand over the watches.

• Had zone conference and said goodbye to all those who are finishing their missions 😢

• After I lost my watch almost got robbed two more times on friday and sunday, but hey this past week, week 52 nothing crazy happened in the street which was nice. 

• I gave marriage advice to an 88 year old man who is our friend Omar,🤣 and Elder Thompson said it was actually pretty good.

Week 52

• We found a less active member who's lives in Harry Potter, literally. Photo below

• This last Sunday a lot of our friends showed up to Church which was hyppeee! 

• Found some super great people to start teaching and almost accomplished all our goals this week. All in all it was a good week
