Semana 72

¡Hola a todos!

We had such an amazing week this week! We were able to complete all of our goals this week and we had 3 friends at church yesterday!!! It was a huge joy for both of us, because the area hasn't had a church attendance in like 3 months. Our friend Conrado has his baptism scheduled for next Sunday and we have another friend scheduled to be baptized this next Sunday as well but we need to focus really hard this week to help her get there.
Also, we had a huge miracle this week. About two weeks ago we wanted to find a family that would be ready to listen to the gospel, and about a week and a half ago we talked to this girl in the street and she said that she would like to learn more, so she told us where her house was and we marked it down to pass by another day. When we passed by the other day we knocked on the door and someone told us that the girl wasn't home so we left to go to another contact. When we were walking away from the house we passed a girl who looked a lot alike to the girl we talked to the week before. When we got to the corner we looked back and she was entering the same house we just had knocked. So we decided to go back and knock the door again. When we knocked again it turned our that the girl that we talked to the week before was actually home and she let us in, we had our friend Leandro accompanying us in the lesson which was great. We walk into the house and the girl her sister, and her brother and mom were all there and we have a lesson with the 4 of them! We taught them the restoration and the plan of salvation for briefly and then invited them all to be baptized, and they all said yes!!! We talked about a baptismal date and their baptism is scheduled for November 4th. Sadly, they weren't able to come to church yesterday but we are going to work super hard this week to help them as much a possible.
So please pray for the Abregu family, and our friend Conrado, María and Ornelia.
I am so grateful to be here on the mission and I have learned so much about my savior Jesus Christ. I hope everybody has a wonderful week and I am grateful for all of your support! Thanks for reading my emails! 😄
Que tengan una gran semana!

Temple in Vancouver WA

¡Hola a todos!

First off, There's going to be a temple in Vancouver, Washington!!!!! Vamossss!! Also, This general conference was absolutely amazing!!! So many wonderful talks and messages. Some of my favorites were from Russell M. Nelson - Think Celestial and truly come unto Christ in all things. Henry B. Erying - I need the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost to recieve daily revelation, Purity Brings Power! Dieter F. Uchtdorf - No one is really lost, the father will always rejoice when we come back, The Prodical Son, the Son who was faithful for his whole life will have ALL that the father has.
I'm so grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I'm so grateful to be a full time missionary! I'm so grateful for my loving family! I'm so grateful for a loving prophet. I'm so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ.
Apart from an absolutely amazing general conference, I had an amazing week! We now have 3 people on date for Baptism and the Zone conference we had on Tuesday was indescribably amazing and filled with the spirit. The mission culture has changed a lot for the better and I love that! We are really focusing on helping those that are ready to make a change to come unto Christ and we are doing that by inviting every single person on the street to be baptized. When someone says yes, we get there contact information and set a baptismal date after the first or second lesson, focusing on the power of the book of Mormon to help them become converted unto the Lord.
I know my redeemer lives and we are here to help and lift others up!! 😄
I hope everyone has a great week!!
