8 months?!?!

¡Hola a todos!

Ok, umm.... today I have completed 8 months of my mission. That's just crazy to me. It seems not long ago that I was in Washington being set apart by my stake president and preparing to start the MTC.

I can't be more grateful for all of the people I've taught
, through Gods power, come unto Christ these past few months, and I can't wait to help even more! 

This week went by way to fast because wednesday we had exchanges and I was in Alta Gracia for the day with Elder Taft! Also, we had another zone conference on Friday with Elder Christian the area president for this region. Something that I learned from the conference was from something that Elder Christiansen said. He said: "The lessons that we are teaching to our friends are not only to increase their knowledge of the gospel but to prepare them to receive invitations and make commitments."

When you think about it, it seems pretty simple really but I just never really thought about it like that before.

This week we found a couple who are very interested in listening and they want to learn more so we are exicted to be teaching them!

Sister Christiansen, the wife of the area president, shared this in the conference. Isaiah 25:9 "And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation." It was cool to hear because all people who know who Christ is will be praising their God and Jesus Christ when He comes again!
